Domain 2014 – Official Results

All good things come to those who wait – in this case, the weather finally was in the Club’s favour and we enjoyed a beautiful, cloudless, warm spring day up at the Domain for a hotly contested event.

Thanks to all competitors, officials and supporters for being a part of our great little event.

PS – Event Posters, for those who did not receive one, are available from Steve Caplice at Fogarty Automotive Services

Entries open for 2014 Domain Hillclimb Sunday 21 September 2014

Yes, that’s right – it’s on again!

CMI is fortunate enough to have the privilege of running a closed road hillclimb on Hobart’s Queens Domain – and all our members, and members of other CAMS affiliated clubs, are invited to enter.

Get in quick – there are only 45 places available.

This year there are two ways to enter. The first is via the new CAMS online entry system at https://www.meecamsau.com/

We encourage use of the new system above, as in time it will become the preferred method for most if not all CAMS affiliated clubs and events. Once registered, all of your details are tied to your account including vehicle details etc, this will make entries far more streamlined for competitors and clubs alike.

You may of course still enter as before – the supp regs and entry form are available below:

Club members – this is the third and final round of the 2014 Oakleys Coaches King of the Hill Series

Economy Run Details – Sunday 17th August

It’s on again – we of course encourage you to bring something Italian (beg, borrow or buy, if needs be).

Always a great event, and suited to family groups, there have been a variety of winners over the years and memorable course layouts. Competition for the wooden spoon is always fierce too – (eg Lotus Esprit Turbo vs Ferrari 308 one year, Lamborghini V8 vs Ferrari V12 another).

The course will run for ~150km. Some short, smooth, gravel sections.

Meet at Retro Cafe Salamanca, 9am for a 10am departure. Finish point will be the Salmon Ponds at Plenty.

Please RSVP to Graham Mitchell on 0418 173 102 (SMS or call).
