The annual Festa Italia Hobart street festival will this year take place on Sunday 22 February, taking place at the Australian Italian Club on Federal Street, North Hobart.
The free event will run from 11am until 5pm, with live music, gourmet food and wine, regional displays, car and motorbike displays, children’s activities, cooking demonstrations, grape crushing, spaghetti eating competitions and much more.
Entertainment will include comedian James Liotta, entertainers Tony Pantano and Dean Canan, award winning dance groups from Melbourne, and local artists Mamma Rosa and Dino Minucci.

Unfortunately the club’s display this Saturday November 29th will not be going ahead due to unforeseen circumstances.
The annual awards dinner is most definitely on in the evening, and we look forward to seeing you there.

The AGM is to be held on 25 November, at the Civic Club, starting at 7pm. All positions are vacant and nominations are called for.
In order for the club to continue to run we need members to step up and join the committee for 2014-2015.
If you enjoy participating in the club’s events, we would urge you to consider nominating for the committee to continue to make them happen – committee meetings are a couple of hours once a month.
This year’s Annual Dinner will be held at Cultura in Liverpool Street from 7:30pm on 29th November

All good things come to those who wait – in this case, the weather finally was in the Club’s favour and we enjoyed a beautiful, cloudless, warm spring day up at the Domain for a hotly contested event.
